  • Anwendungsfreudig und spaßvoll geht es her an diesem Wochenende.
  • Der Kurs wendet sich an Pädagogen, Kultur- und Sozialarbeiter und Künstler und Kulturschaffende.
  • Für die Teilnahme sind keine besonderen Vorkenntnisse erforderlich.
  • Die in den Workshops vorgestellten Methoden des Tanztheaters und künstlerischen Prozessen des zeitgenössischen Tanzes sind niederschwellig aber anspruchsvoll.
  • Die Kreativstrategien sind für alle Bereiche der kulturellen Bildung geeignet.
  • Gestik, Text, Bewegung, Fotografie, Film, Kostüm, Objekt, Material, Raum und Thesen bilden Ausgangspunkte für eine künstlerische kulturpädagogische Arbeit mit vielgestaltigen Ergebnissen.
  • Die wichtigsten Elemente des Tanz- und Bewegungstheaters und der Choreografie werden herausgestellt, erläutert und didaktisch bearbeitet.
  • Der Kurs ist darauf angelegt dass die vermittelten Methoden direkt in die Praxis einfließen können.

THEMA 2 //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
OUT OF THE BLACK BOX!
Kulturpädagogik im öffentlichen Raum

  • Die künstlerische Arbeit im Raum, mit der Umgebung und der Kulisse bildet den Schwerpunkt der Workshops an diesem Wochenende.
  • Was ist die räumliche Essenz des Inszenierens? Was bedeutet die Inszenierung an einem unüblichen Aufführungsort für den kreativen Prozess und was macht eine solche Location mit den Erwartungen des Publikums?
  • Das Publikum sitzt, der Vorhang geht auf. Sowohl Darsteller als Zuschauer wissen wo die vierte Wand eingezogen ist und teilen die Gesetze dieses geschützten und klar definierten Raumkonzeptes der „black box“. Am nächsten Tag findet dieselbe Inszenierung in einem ganz anderen räumlichen Kontext statt, z.B auf dem Tempelhofer Feld.
  • Welchen Einfluss hat die Veränderung einer räumlichen Situation auf eine Darbietung? Kann eine räumliche Gegebenheit eine Darstellung bestimmen oder ihren Rahmen sprengen? Zu welchen narrativen Wendungen führt sie?
  • Die kulturpädagogische Arbeit findet meistens statt in dem sogenannten geschützen (Probe)Raum. Wird sie in den öffentlichen Raum verlegt, kommen ganz andere Aspekte an die Oberfläche.
  • Diverse kreative Prozesse im Umgang mit der Idee des Raums werden erläutert, durchgespielt und für die Praxis didaktisch dekliniert.

DIE KUNST DES ICHS
Die eigene Künstlerposition in der Kulturpädagogik

  • Erläutert und praktiziert wird in diesem Seminar das künstlerische Forschen und die Wahrnehmung der eigenen künstlerischen Persönlichkeit.
  • Was macht die künstlerische Qualität einer tanz- und theaterpädagogischen Arbeit aus? Inwiefern kann der pädagogische Anspruch mit dem künstlerischen standhalten?
  • Das Entwickeln einer künstlerischen Identität und das Verdichten einer künstlerischen Handschrift kann durch gezieltes dramaturgisches und künstlerisches Forschen gefördert werden.
  • Dabei werden Pädagogen und Schüler gleichsam auf eine spannende und prägende Reise geschickt. Hier werden sie ihren eigenen künstlerischen Antrieb entdecken und erste Schritte auf dem Weg zu einer ganz eigenen Künstlerposition gehen.
  • Im Kurs lernen die Teilnehmer verschiedene dramaturgische Tools kennen und deren pädagogische Anwendungen.

Das Programm des CULTURAL WEEKEND BERLIN besteht aus Workshops in Verbindung mit einem ergänzenden Rahmenprogramm

Die kulturpädagogischen Workshops
Die Workshopssessions vermitteln elementare, methodische und didaktische Tools.

Die Methoden sind in vielen Bereichen der kulturpädagogischen Praxis anwendbar. Beispielsweise im Bereich des Tanzes, der Performance, des Theaters und des Unterrichtsfaches Darstellen und Gestalten.

Die Seminare haben verschiedene Themen und Schwerpunkte.

Dramaturgische Prozesse bei künstlerischen Produktionen und Kulturprojekten werden beleuchtet.


Das Rahmenprogramm
Tauchen Sie ein Wochenende lang ein in die Hauptstadt der aktuellen freien Theater- und Tanzszene.

Inspriration: Berlin vereint die spannendsten Kunst- und Kulturszenen der Welt. Darin bekommen die Teilnehmenden einen differenzierten Einblick. Sie gehen gemeinsam ins Theater, zu Ausstellungen oder wohnen ungewöhnliche Kulturformaten bei.

Im Nachgang wird der Besuch pädagogisch und künstlerisch reflektiert.

Ashtanga Yoga Einheiten vervollständigen das Wochenende und fördern Beweglichkeit und Entspannung.

contemporary dance and dance theatre in the social, cultural and educational practise

  • This weekend comes along with a lot of fun and with a special focus on practical situations like dealing with artistic group dynamics.
  • The workshops addresses teachers, cultural and socio-cultural workers, artists and art producers.
  • In principle, no previous knowledge is necessary.
  • The methods for dance-theatre and the creative processes for contemporary dance presented in the workshops are easily accessible but also challenging and individually demanding.
  • The artistic strategies are suitable for all areas of cultural education.
  • Gesture, text, movement, different media like e.g. film and photography, costume, object, materiality, environment and thesis are starting points for an artistic working process resulting multiformal and diverse.
  • Crucial aspects of contemporary dance and dance theatre and choreography  are to be analysed, explained and didactically declined.
  • The seminar is designed to be applicable in all practise situations immediately afterwards.

OUT OF THE BLACK BOX!
Cultural education in public spaces

  • Working artistically in public spaces. This will be the focus of this weekend’s seminar.
  • What is a scenery? What is a site? What is a situation? What does the metaphor of space mean for our artistic propositions and ideas?
  • The seminar will deal with the spacial essence of staging and show what unusual scenery or staging situations provoke. The workshops illuminate how the aspect of (public) space influences the creative process and the expectations of spectators.
  • The audience is seated, the curtain rises. Performer and audience know exactly where the so called fourth wall is put up and share the laws of this protected and clearly cut spacial concept of the black box. The next day the same performance takes place somewhere else  e.g. at Tempelhofer Feld.
  • What influence does this spacial change have on the staging? Can a spacial situation define the context or even blast the scope of the narrative?
  • Most cultural education takes place in the safely set concept of a rehearsal room in a black box. Exportation into the public space renders very different artistic aspects and educational options.
  • Various creative processes dealing with the idea of space and situation will be explained, reviewed, practised and didactically declined

THE ART OF ME
Finding an individual artistic position in the practice of cultural education

  • In this seminar the perception of your very own artistic personality and an artistic research to deepen your artistic position (and those of others) will be the central aim. You’ll get to know methods that can support you and persons you work with in this.
  • What criteria define the artistic quality aspect of your work and how does that combine with the pedagogical quality you claim.
  • The development of an artistic identity and the consolidation of an artistic signature can be aquired, provoked and promoted by concerted artistic an dramaturgical research.
  • If pedagogues allow themselves and their scholars to be sent on an exiting and profound investigative journey, they can discover their artistic drive commonly and make first steps on the way to develop an individual artistic personality.
  • In this seminar the participants will be informed about different dramaturgical tools and their educational didactics.

The programme of CULTURAL WEEKEND BERLIN contains workshops and some complementary components.

Advanced workshops in cultural education

  • During the workshop sessions elementary, methodical and didactic tools can be experienced and are explained and analysed.
  • The methods are applicable in many fields of cultural education such as dance, theatre, performance and visual arts, in schools, in social projects and generally as sensitisers for political, social, medial and aesthetic statements and situations.
  • The seminars concentrate on different themes and include current aspects of educational practices.
  • The workshops look into dramaturgic processes in cultural projects

Complementary components of the weekend

  • The participants will immerse in the lively and dynamic theatre, dance and art scene of Berlin.
  • The whirlpool Berlin produces most exciting and experimental artist collaborations and cultural formats. The participants will be given an differenciated insight view. Communal theatre or expo experiences will be reflected both pedagogically and artistically.
  • Reflective body work sessions with e.g. Ashtanga Yoga will complement the weekend focussing on flexibility and relaxation.
